what happened to prayer??

what is this world coming too??

there is barely any good news on the news channels.. its all about war and poverty and death. its makes me so sad that there isn't very much good in this world.

it makes me want to do something about it, but what can i do? im only 16 years old. and i know many people will say "sara what you can do is you can pray."

i find myself remembering this phrase in my head

"put your faith in God, not your prayers"

so i ask you. when you pray do have faith and do you believe that GOD will answer YOUR prayer?.. kind of mind boggling that GOD does acutally listen to YOU? i know i freaked too. GOD is actually sitting there listening to you cry out to you. hes not busy, hes just sitting there waiting for you to just say HI at the least. Hes all ears, anytime, day or night..

what has our mind come to when we pray we pray as if we're a machine.. imagine if you were at a coffee shop talking to your friends and they talked to you in the way that you pray to God, would you be frustrated because all they say to you is so impersonal and the same prayer over and over again. or would you want your friends to look you in the eye and tell you everything they're going through...

hmm not a tough choice now is it?

personally for me i'd want my friend to talk to me. and to not sound like an answering machine...


JESUS is real..

hes real as the sun rises in the morning.

He is REAL.

ive noticed when im at church we sometimes forget that we're actually worshipping a living God, that God is as real as real gets.

how about we all start praying with FAITH in GOD. instead of having faith in your prayers..

i hope you understand where im coming from.

Maybe this world would start to change if we actually did start putting faith in God and obeying him..

God is calling us to say YES. to say yes to change this world for the better to defeat the enemy and show people real kindness and show people Jesus.

to show people Real LOVE.


With the reputations that christians have its hard to pick up the peices and prove that reputation wrong..

not all christians are judgemental, hypocrites

Jesus did not JUDGE ANYONE.

he loved every single person he came upon. Jesus didn't come here to establish a religion but to show us love, he never said go and judge people that aren't christians, go judge those heathens, those sinners,

NO jesus said Love they neighbor.

he didn't say love thy neighbor, but only if they're not sinners..

uhm i don't think so.


Jesus called us to Love.

to love his people, his children.

and its up to take up that calling and actually live that life

that life of kindness and to follow Jesus

God is love...


im trying my hardest at leading this kind of lifestyle..
